The Forest Seaman
The Forest Seaman (2017) was a theatre production by Teater Innlandet, based on the novel A Hero of the Sea. The Forest Seaman by Jon Michelet, in a theatrical adaption by Mathias Calmeyer. The world premiere took place at Fyrverkeriet kulturhus in Raufoss.
Janne Langaas directed it.
Espen Mauno played the role of the rookie sailor Halvor.
John Nyutstumo played all other roles.
The novel The Forest Seaman is the first of six in a novel cycle, called A Hero of the Sea.
