White Flight by Karwan Omar placed the immigrants’ search for identity on the agenda, through expressive, dynamic and humorous movement in a tight duet. The aim was that interaction between static heaviness and dreamy lightness, between slow motion and high intensity, from the noisy and hectic to the most silent of moments, would touch and move the audience.
White Flight by Karwan Omar was performed during the festival Twist 08, in collaboration between Det Åpne Teater (The Open Theatre), The Norwegian Touring Theatre and Nordic Black Theatre.
