The Open Theatre (Det Åpne Teater) writes the following about Farvel da, Muffin* (Goodbye then, Muffin) by Bjørn Birch: "While the man tidies up, he finds things he had hidden and perhaps even forgotten about. Most important of all he finds is the cage of Muffin, a hamster he had as a child. The cage and the memories about Muffin take him back to when he and Muffin were both seven years old and "the same age". But the boy was still young on earth, while Muffin was old and about to die. The man relives his very first love and his very first loss and realises one grows stronger from loving even though it hurts to lose."
