In the production The Princess Who Travelled into the Earth by Hov and Vangen we encounter the brave princess on a dangerous journey into the heart of the earth. She is searching for a magic flower to make the sad king happy again.
Hege Hov and Simen Vangen have taken the familiar fairytale by Regine Normann, linked it up to traditional folk music from Lofoten and Vesterålen, and mixed in contemporary music and improvisation. With the light designer Lucjan Golas the two have made a universe in which the moods of the fairytale are awoken to life.
