Gon by Årjelhsaemien Teatere is a dance theatre and joik performance exploring the Southern Sami language and cultural expressions.

Gon offers situational humour, hot rhythms, Japanese street fashion and colourful dance. It is a spectacular performance aspiring to challenge the spectator's view of Sami culture.

Åarjelhsaemien Teatere writes about the play (translated from Norwegian by Sceneweb’s Lillian Bikset): "We gather what we meet, use what we find use for, and save the rest for later. We have travelled the world and adapted cultural expressions, including Japanese street fashion. We are from "the South" and we speak "Southern", that is, Åarjelsaemien gïele or Southern Sami language."
