33303377777336444886 was made in collaboration between Tori Wrånes and Olav Benestvedt.
Tori Wrånes and Olav Benestvedt long have worked parallel with texts, fragments of poetry, content lists and anti-methods, and with this production they want to search for the shadows in the mouth. It is as when the German poet Friedrich Hölderlin (1770-1843) asks: "Would I like to be a comet?" Yes!
In the performance monologue 33303377777336444886, performed by Wrånes and with text by Benestvedt, the duo work from a faith in human electricity. Wrånes and Benestvedt work from a faith in human electricity. They are being lured towards deformations and endless range. They find themselves in the yes and the no at the same time and let themselves be seduced by ideas and associations in the prolongation of dream and imagination. They work liberated from norms connected to technique, genre and expression and accept what they call "chaos and queues on the brain".
Actor and text writer Olav Benestvedt mostly works in France and has made a number of productions. Tori Wrånes graduated from The National Academy of Fine Arts in 2009. She works a lot with voice and sculpture, mixing elements from theatre, music and visual arts. Her work is presented through galleries, as well as theatre and concert venues and less obvious venues such as climbing walls, parking lots and under water.
