Eyes not yet seen, YOCTOSECOND is the second part of Molitrix Scenekunst's project Monox3, thematically revolving around the individual’s options to choose in the society of information. The production emphasises creating a personal room, focus and silence. Between the choreography and the technological elements such as electronic music made by Bergen-based IO, video and data technology, a duality arise. This duality is used as a tool, on one hand demonstrating the benefits of technology, on the other hand pointing at fields where the technology doesn’t suffice.
Eyes not yet seen, YOCTOSECOND wants to illuminate the ambiguous and transparent in the daily life of the modern urban human. Life is experienced as fragmented while seeking continuity, an underlying energy flow of calm, balancing the chaotic life. This is the essence of the production. Eyes not yet seen, YOCTOSECOND examines the human being as a creative acting creature with power and options to make free choices.
In Eyes not yet seen, YOCTOSECOND movements, electronic sound, image and computer technology are used as scenic means of expressions in establishing a duality between using technology as a perfect tool and using it to point out the imperfect.
