Vendt the Monk

Vendt the Monk (1959) was a theatre production by The National Stage, based on the play by Knut Hamsun. Only the second act was performed. The production was performed at the theatre's main stage.

Magnus Tveit played the title role.

Vendt the Monk was The National Theatre's celebration of the centenary of Knut Hamsun's birth. He was born August 4 1859.
