Gynt

Eller Gud gav oss en ørken så vi kunne vandre

Gynt (1988) was a theatre production by The National Stage, subtitled Eller Gud gav oss en ørken så vi kunne vandre* (Or God gave us a desert so that we could wander). It was based on a play by Erling Gjelsvik, inspired by Peer Gynt by Henrik Ibsen. The production was staged at the theatre's main stage, Store Scene.

Frode Rasmussen and Carl Morten Amundsen shared responsibility for directing it.

Frode Rasmussen and Niklas Gundersen - real-life father and son - shared the role of Peer Gynt. Gundersen played the young Peer, Rasmussen the older.
