The toys strike back by Theatre Isenkram is improvised theatre. The children bring toys to the venue, and the actors tell stories based on the toys. The stories are changing every time the production is performed, but the theme for the play is always the same - to create something together through interaction. From what and when theatre arises is a fundamental question in the project. The performers enter the unknown with the children, some of whom are invited to join the actors on the stage to help with different solutions in the stories.
The toys strike back by Theatre Isenkram is a theatre performance aiming to be inclusive and to inspire the children to create stories of their own.
The toys strike back by Theatre Isenkram is supported by Arts Council Norway and the Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs/MFA (travel grant/performing arts).
