Baal
Baal (2003) was a theatre production by Rogaland Theatre, based on the play by Bertolt Brecht. The production was performed in the venue Intimscenen.
Morten Borgersen directed it.
Bjarte Hjelmeland played the title role.
The original plan was for Eirik Nilssen Brøyn to direct the production. He was fired from the project February 10, a choice Morten Borgersen, who at the time headed The National Stage, explained with lack of confidence among the ensemble. Bjarte Hjelmeland went on sick leave for parts of the rehearsal period.
