Kurt Johannessen may be the one visual artist in Norway who has through decades worked the most continuously with performance as an expression. Terje Nicolaisen is an artist who has developed very distinct strategies in the intersection between the conceptual and the visual.
Johannessen publishes books/texts in dialogue with and as a prolongation of his performance project.
Nicolaisen is one of the leading in the country in his use of artists-books as means of expression, in addition to working with different actionist approaches in developing, financing and completing his projects.
Dramatikkens hus is concerned with stimulating to developing new dramaturgies, other types of conversations and other forms for dialogues.
