I found what you left

I found what you left was a poetic-visual cooperation project between Inghild Karlsen and Cecilie Løveid. During a trip to Barcelona in February 2010 the two artists discovered that they share an interest for markets. Markets are meeting points for all sorts of people in a city, however their status or rank, and they are also places where women have presence and power.

In I found what you left Karlsen and Løveid examined the many different sides of the market. Løveid’s texts were entangled with Karlsen’s visual expression in an artistic meeting in the intersection between performance and theatre.

Cecilie Løveid and Inghild Karlsen met for the first time in Bergen where they cooperated in the production Vi vil det skal vare evig (We want it to last forever) in 1983. Since then they have collaborated in several projects.
