"In Fury we meet a successful, highly functional family, consisting of the brain scientist Alice, her husband Patrick, who is a successful writer, and their teenage son Joe. When the son is discovered tagging a mosque, the successful facade of the family starts breaking up, and secrets one thought were deeply buried come to light. Can old misdeeds handle the light of day?
Patrick and Alice have raised their son in tune with the values they appreciate the most; humanism, ethical and political integrity, and knowledge rather than prejudice. With his actions, Joe has wanted to defend his cultural values and to oppose Islamic intolerance. He challenges his parents' worldview, their fundamental values and not least: The images they have of themselves. Is being passionately involved in an issue only a good thing if it is a leftist case? Some freedom fighters are others' terrorists- who has the power to define it? How far can your rage and political indignation drive you? Alice's distant past is in radical activism. She knows the fury..."
