In the Field Works series, they collaborate with sound artist Fabrice Moinet, exploring different semi-public spaces. The body is placed in unknown environments and situations in order to explore how these spaces affect the body in movement. How can traces from different places and situations be stored in our bodies, and resurface in other contexts?
Field Works – Office was a unique experience for each spectator, and took place in the offices of 3RW Architects during Oktoberdans 2010.
The office edition FIELD WORKS - Office had its worldwide premiere in Kortrijk, but was transformed to fit Bergen during the dance festival Oktoberdans 2010.
Heine Røsdal Avdal received the Oktoberdans Award in 2008 for the performance Some notes are.
Field Works - Office by Heine Røsdal Avdal and Yukiko Shinozaki was supported by the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs/MFA (travel grant/performing arts).
