Fili
"Fili" by Circus Ronaldo is charming circus theatre without being fully circus or fully theatre. In half a dozen generations the Ronaldo family has been in the circus. In the performance "Fili" they bring guests and together they deliver acrobatics and stunts that should be branded "Don’t try this at home!". The performance the laughter muscles and gives the audience a poetic theatre experience.

"Fili" means strings and the performers onstage start a marionette opera completely dissolving.
"To pull the strings or to be suspended by strings? A choice we seem to make deep within our subconscious at a rather early age. A life in which we are neither puppet nor puppeteer seems to be very rare on this earth" (Read more on Circus Ronaldo’s webpage, 17.08.2010, http://www.circusronaldo.be).
Everybody onstage strives for attention, after a place in the spotlight. Despite all the madcap madness of Circus Ronaldo’s, they also show that they’re most gifted actors, musicians and scenic poets.
