At the webpage of Black Box Teater the following, among other things, is written about The Agony and the Ecstasy of Steve Jobs:

"In the play, the American playwright, activist and journalist Mike Daisey tell of his shocking journey to the factory where Apple produces all its products. There he meets a group of illegally organised workers, among others. The revelations from China are interwoven with the story of Steve Jobs' life, a narrative that is to a large degree synonymous to the narrative of the personal computer. Through Mike Daisey's comical outlook we may be confronted with ourselves, as he shows u show technology has taken over our lives. Is it our best friend or worst enemy?"
