Catching the cold

Catching the cold (2013) is a dance and music production by performers and choreographers Ingeleiv Berstad, Brian Geza, Kristin Ryg Helgebostad and Eivind Seljeseth and musicians Olav Christer Rossebø and Blessed Rukweza.

The work was developed in residency at Dansearena nord in Hammerfest and in Harare, Zimbabwe.

In the programme of HIFA - International Festival of the Arts 2013 the following, among other things, is written about Catching the cold:

"A live performance work created trough collaboration between choreographers/dancers and musicians. The dramaturgie of the piece is built with sound, light, movement phrases and text, inspired by the changes of weather, temperature, atmosphere and drama in the northernmost city in the world, Hammerfest, and in Harare."

Catching the cold (2013 by Ingeleiv Berstad, Brian Geza, Kristin Ryg Helgebostad and Eivind Seljeseth and musicians Olav Christer Rossebø and Blessed Rukweza was supported by the Arts Council Norway and the Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs/MFA (travel grant/performing arts).
