Stella Polaris has developed a methodical ABC for teaching jesters’ skills, giving each participant a sense of mastering from the very first lesson. The aim and end of our Circus Workshop is to make a pupils’ presentation, a performance. This is an important factor of motivation and contributes a sense of partnership and collaboration important to the process. Our performance concept can be built on an optional theme within the following subjects:

The Viking Age and Northern Mythology The Middle Ages Indian Myths and Rituals

The Circus Workshop can be adjusted to all ages and levels, including the physically or mentally disabled. The workshop can contain all kinds of jesters’ skills: Juggling, dancing on stilts, acrobatics, tightrope walking, trapeze arts, pyramids, flag and stick fighting et cetera.

We emphasise interaction and the feeling of being alive when performing the arts. Stella Polaris also emphasise the teaching of security.

The duration of the workshop is adjusted to the wishes of the arranger.

Stella Polaris contributes a minimum of two pedagogues, beyond this the number of pedagogues depends on the number of participants. The pedagogues bring along costumes, instruments and all other effects needed to complete the workshop and will also direct the performance.
