O'death AKA O'death darker
O'death (2015) was a theatre production by Findlay//Sandsmark in collaboration with Jason Rogenes and Pål Asle Pettersen. The produciton had its world premiere at Tou Scene in Stavanger. The spring of 2020, a new version of the production was made, called o'death (darker). This version was modified to accommodate protection measures against the Corona virus.
Together, Iver Findlay and Marit Sandsmark were responsible for the concept. Findlay was responsible for the direction, Sandsmark for the choreography and performance, whereas Pål Asle Pettersen composed the music and took part as a musician. The sculptures in use were created by Jason Rogenes.
O'death was performed at Black Box Teater during Oslo International Theatre Festival 2015.

In a press release, Findlay//Sandsmark writes the following, among other things, about o'death (darker) (2020):
"RIMI/IMIR and Findlay//Sandsmark present a new version of the production o'death, with different guest artists over five evenings towards the end of June. The piece will be presented in an intimate format for a smaller audience, and it will include contributions/concerts from some of our favourite musicians. Each evening, a new artist will accompany the piece, in addition to playing a set of his/her own in the landscape of o'death.
