"Dorothy (Agnete Johnsen) and her friends Toto (Anneli Drecker), the scarecrow (Espen Bråten Kristoffersen), the tin man (Rebekka Nystabakk) and the lion (Kristine Henriksen) know their own weaknesses - they think. But sometimes, humans, and lions, and scarecrows, and tin men, can underestimate themselves and their abilities. When Jon Tombre revitalise The Wizard of Oz, the magic of finding one's own solutions is the central one. (...) The Arctic Theatre's Wizard is rich in references to the movie, in the interpretation of roles as well as in costumes and masks (designed by Kathrine Tolo). At the same time, it has a playful relationship to its origin."
