Kalvø
Kalvø (2014) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Theatre, a solo performance by and with Are Kalvø. The production was first performed in the theatre's venue Scene 2. Due to audience interest, it was later transferred to the theatre's main stage.
Erik Ulfsby directed it.
Kalvø also was performed on tours arranged by The Norwegian Touring Theatre.
Kalvø won the Norwegian comedy award Komiprisen 2015 in the stage production of the year category.
A digital version of Kalvø was released by The Norwegian Theatre during the Corona crisis of 2020. You may read more about that here.

At the webpage of The Norwegian Theatre the following, among other things, is written about Kalvø:
"Are we who live here and now capable of doing anything great? Or are we simply too busy doing so much else? This is one of the things Are Kalvø tries to find an answer to in his first solo performance. He has scrutinised statistics from the time use survey done by Statistics Norway, and found the strangest things on which we spend a lot of time. He shamelessly uses himself as an example, and searches for signs for grand ideas during his upbringing, among friends, in daily life, in news, in politics and in sports. Something we must be really good at, better than anyone before us in the history of humanity. But what?"
