"Cliffhanger" by British Bash Street Theatre takes us back to the golden age of the silent movies, in a performance having enchanted children and adults all over Europe. A silent movie of reality, with collapsing buildings, daring rescue operations and slapstick humour accompanied by live piano.

In 2006 "Cliffhanger" was awarded the prestigious prize for Best Street Theatre Show at the street theatre festival Fira de Teatre al Carrer in Tàrrega, Spain.
This action-packed show is inspired by Buster Keaton’s movie "Convict 13", following a waiter in love as he is entangled in a daring flight from prison. When the heroine is abducted by the villain a series of hair-raising episodes in which the hero has to do his utmost to save his girlfriend.
Bash Street Theatre has entertained the audience with its inventive, madcap performances since 1991. The company mixes acrobatics, circus theatre, comedy from the silent movie era and live music in a fast-moving, high-speed form, which has stayed popular for close to 20 years.
The performances are without dialogue and are appropriate for the whole family.
