"Alf Prøysen was artistically active for 25 years. Kjæm du i kvell stages some of his best-known songs, such as Tango for to (literally: Tango for Two) and Slipsteinsvalsen (literally: The Grindstone Waltz). The songs are given new resonance in the meeting with the lesser-known short prose, written by Prøysen for Oslo Arbeiderblad in the period 1950-1970. The texts have been given linguistic clothes from Trøndelag and are presented in a jazzed singer-songwriter popular music landscape, under the musical direction of Tor Ingar Jakobsen."
