"A woman and a man have met out on town. She leaves another man and their child to be with the new - much younger man. But this is not without problems. It is not without its dangers when a mature woman destroys her family and throws herself into a romantic adventure with a younger man. What if he doesn't want her anymore? What then?
Arne Lygre has written beautifully about life and love in something reminiscent of a dream play. The production met with great reviews after its world premiere in Sweden, among other places in The Guardian.
Lygre is a linguistic perfectionist, known for his particular choices in form and changing narrator perspectives. Throughout his life as a writer he has examined the theme of transforming identity.
Puts emphasis on poetry
Even though there is a lot of pain in this piece, there is an insuppressible courage to live in it, creating a kind of optimism, despite it all. Maria Kjærgaard-Sunesen mounts it within a landscape created by Mie Riis. The Danish team puts an emphasis on the poetic aspects of Lygre's text and has chosen a form making the performance an inner mental journey - and a beautiful visual journey."
Nothing of Me by The Norwegian Theatre represented the Norwegian stage premiere of Lygre's play. The world premiere took place in Stockholm earlier in 2014 using the Swedish title Ingenting av mig.

Chris Erichsen, En smak av thriller (literally: A taste of thriller), Scenekunst.no, 08.09.2014:
"The Danish director and stage designer duo consisting of Maria Kjærgaard-Sunesen and Mie Riis has created a particular, quiet as well as powerfully theatrical, and at times film noir-like universe, which still provides the actors with enough room. But Gjertrud Jynge and Marianne Krogh are who shine."
