About Medea

Medea (1982) was a theatre production by The Norwegian Theatre, based on the tragedy by Euripides. It was staged at The Norwegian Theatre's Scene 2, in Rosenkrantzgaten.

Greek Jannis Houvardas directed it. He used large parts of the theatre in his version of the play. The performance started in the foyer. After the interval it started in the restaurant, and eventually the audience had to leave the theatre via the emergency exit.

Henny Moan interpreted the title role.
