Dream Chamber by Ane Lan is an attempt to interpret and project the unconscious meaning of society's 'neurotic symptoms', often difficult to acknowledge. We are invited to wake up.

The performance was created as a commentary on the 150-year Freud anniversary in 2006, and focuses on the applicability of dream analysis and psychoanalysis in the mediated society of today. The central question is how humans view themselves and their existence in a society dominated by mass media.

Dream Chamber by Ane Lan was supported by Arts Council Norway, the Audio Visual Fund and the Norwegian Ministry for Foreign Affairs/MFA (travel grant/performing arts).
