The Glass Menagerie
The Glass Menagerie (1966) was a theatre production by The National Theatre, based on the play by Tennessee Williams. The production was performed at the theatre's main stage.
Gerda Ring directed it. She was 76 years old at the time, and this became her last production for The National Theatre, where she had worked since she was hired as an actress in 1912.
Ada Kramm interpreted the role of Amanda. The role marked her 50thanniversary as an actress. She had also celebrated her 25th anniversary with the same role.
Liv Thorsen interpreted the role of Laura.
Joachim Calmeyer interpreted the role of Tom.
