Snart begynner de å løpe. Seven songs for tre nisser* (Soon they begin to run. Seven songs for seven gnomes) (2001) was a production by Tone Avenstroup and Margareth Kammerer.
The room is green and covered with artificial grass. Person 1 in a swing, person 2 in a reclining chair. Three garden gnomes with built-in loudspeakers and a backpack with a minidisc player. While the audience enters the room, the gnomes tell a fairytale.
Snart begynner de å løpe. Seven songs for tre nisser. was part of the event scene oslo berlin, arranged by Black Box Teater in November 2001. For a week the theatre presented a selection of contemporary performing arts from Germany, with emphasis on Berlin.
