"Wheezing from a bird regarded as mute; the big, white bird falls down with longing. In the water two women, swimming. Three tracks: Sound, text and choreography run parallel.
Bertolt Brecht encouraged performing 'more good sport' in theatres and was enthused by boxing. We have chosen a more feminine variety: Swimming as dance, gestic and graphic.
An erotic motif is synchronised with a text about political memory. The text tells the story of a waiting man. He sits in a workplace cafeteria waiting for an assignment, the change of tides. He is a transport worker, captured in his own body, like a stranded whale.
Place: The pool in the atrium garden. Motif: Leda and the swan. Text: noe med et oppdrag (literally: something about an assignment) by Henryk Gericke."
