Fifth Speech (2003) by Kurt Johannessen is a solo work of performance art, produced for the art bank Kunstbanken's performance festival in 2003.
The artist also performed his performance Thirteenth Journey during the same festival.

Kurt Johannessen has said: "In my work presence in the situation is fundamental. The rest I try to keep as open as possible, not to lock the options too early. This is the starting point. At the same time I am preoccupied with finding situation that may provide me with qualities I have not formerly experienced. I often minimise down to one image and create microscopic variations within this frame. At other times the situation is more complex, but still within a poetic minimalist expression."
