Floating Characters

Floating Characters by Karen Kipphoff is a scenic multimedia project. It explores the borders of screen, digital media and live art during performances utilizing puppets, objects, actors, text, audio and visual media. The piece Floating Characters is inspired by Bunraku theatre, video games, cyborgs, slapstick, panoramic experiences, the absurdity of life in general and especially by Alexander Vvedenskij’s play A Certain Number of Conversations.
