"The key to a meaningful life is in a rich language. Rockpojken is about just this. About the importance of being able to express oneself well in speech and writing. It is also about the importance of reading books. To turn words into your own images. In a time when the market forces' images dominate it is utterly important to speak about the written word. When people turn words into images they stimulate their own imagination, creativity and emphatic abilities."

"... how nasty Rockpojken* (The Rock Boy) is. He swears and slurs, sexual words fall as hail, and he scratches his crotch. When words are not available to him - and that happens a lot - he comments through loud burps. It is a driving good performance about youth for youth that Anders Peedú has made. It has tempo and drive like a rock song."
