"On the desperate edge of now is an evening length dance work conceived for an all male cast, investigating masculinity, physicality and the impact of male cultures; a dance performance about violence, vulnerability, power, powerlessness and men. Through themes of ritual, combat, competition and play, the work investigates collectivity versus the individual. Where lies the blurry line separating friends and foes? Collective and individual?"
