Mungo Park Allerød and Jo Strømgren Kompani describe Origin of Species as follows:

"The year is 1832. A brig is headed for the Galapagos Islands. In the captain's cabin a man's ideas is about to change the world.

Charles Darwin was 22 years old when agreeing to keep Captain FitzRoy company during a trip around the world. Underway he collected samples of until then unknown plant and animal species. During the almost five-year long journey he developed his theory about the origin of the species. His discoveries clashed with the Biblical creation narrative and the many loud discussions in the captain's cabin became a forewarning for the opposition he was later to meet."
