In Sa ka la by Aarhus Theatre Olav Myrtvedt created a split stage design: Half of the stage showed a room decorated for Mama's 60th birthday celebration. The other half showed Mama's hospital room.
In the play she gets a stroke on the day of her 60th birthday celebration, and the only sounds she is able to produce are noises like "sa ka la". Her son and two daughters still attempt to communicate with her.
