Fuck My Life

Fuck My Life was a documentary theatre production produced by The Norwegian Theatre in 2012.

Per-Olav Sørensen was responsible for the direction, interviews and Norwegian concept, based on an original concept by Pol Heyvaert. Belgian Heyvaert had already collected stories from youth in Cork in Ireland, using them in a production. In Norway the youth used their own stories. They were selected after interviews Per-Olav Sørensen made with 70 Norwegian youths, again selected among a group of 500.

As the performance program for the Norwegian production said: "Even though the concept with moving youth directly from the street to the stage is the same, the stories and the universe the Oslo youth create are entirely different from the Irish."

Fuck My Life was nominated for The Hedda Award 2013 in the best production for children and youth category.
