More

Boreas Bulreador wrote the following, among other things, about More real than nothing:

"Virkeligere enn ingenting is the story about two actors meeting in a theatre threatened by death. In this meeting they try to avoid the coming disaster through recreating a farce in a last attempt of creating something more real than anything. Boreas Burleador has in this production found a starting point in the fool's history, function and death, in medieval times as well as our own age. The production has found inspiration in Escurial, a drama written by Michele de Ghelderode."

Press coverage

Writer and date unknown, Klassekampen [Oslo]:
"Boreas Burleador has, as one of the leading independent companies today, found its distinct expression in a combination of mask theatre and music. Based on expressive jester's theatre they have found their way to a grotesque, melodramatic acting style. [...] Best the two are when they stand alone. Then, in a moment, evocative magic is recreated, in which the simple play with stage design and props get a tense theatrical expression. "

Writer and date unknown, Rogalands avis [Stavanger]:
"…when it succeeds, Virkeligere enn ingenting* (More real than anything) gives us moments of magical theatre."

Writer and date unknown, Aftenposten [Oslo]:
"In acting, Virkeligere enn ingenting represents a not insignificant step forward. In particular Anne Mali Sæther has developed - with precision and a lot of humour in her acting."

Writer and date unknown, Morgenbladet [Oslo]:

"A vital combination of text, mimics and music has resulted in a highly personal expression for intimate issues, in which burning contemporary problems are put into timeless, luscious and humorous perspectives. "
