The Master Thief
The foundation for The Master Thief by Turnékompaniet was the Asbjørnsen and Moe version of the wandering fairytale by the same name. During the wandering the story came to the brothers Anders, Jonas and Peter Kippersund plus their producer sister Inga Live. The Master Thief is humorous theatre for the youngest.

In The Master Thief Turnékompaniet has wanted to keep part of the fairytale expression, so the production became a mix between storytelling and theatre.
In The Master Thief a boy more dubious than the average Ash Lad found out that being a thief sounds like a good profession. He trains and is educated in a diversity of ways and finally becomes a master thief. But the king in the country gets to hear about his choice of work and steps in. The boy has to prove that he really is a master thief and to fool the king himself. Or else he will lose his head! Then he just has to start the job, hasn’t he?
