Twenty Quotations
Twenty Quotations by Jacob Wren (Canada). Beginning with two quotations by Goethe and Stendhal, the performance lecture Twenty Quotations by internationally acclaimed Canadian writer and theatre director Jacob Wren takes the audience on a guided tour of the never ending questions that continue to complicate and surround his performance work. Using a series of twenty quotations as a springboard for reflection upon his ongoing practice, and placing special emphasis on it’s theoretical and conceptual underpinnings, this performance has been described as both gentle and provocative.
