At the webpage of The Arctic Theatre the following, among other things, is written about Hamsuns feber* (Hamsun's fever):

"Some of Northern Norway's best artists invite to a different guided tour through the magical world of theatre. The starting point for the journey is Hamsun's Fever Poems from 1904.

At the occasion of The Hamsun Year 2009 vi invite the audience to enter the back door of Troms’s new theatre venue. The performance offers a sense-oriented, musical and visual experience, in which the audience is brought into areas that are usually closed to them.

Hamsun's Fever Poems from 1904 constitute a depiction of a man dissolving. He has lost the one he loves, and he struggles with his own mourning and urge to live."
