Throwing your body into the fight

In the spring program of BIT Teatergarasjen 2001 the following is written about Throwing your body into the fight by Raimund Hoghe:

"The audience gets to experience a performance lecture, or the other way round, from the man who has so much at heart. (...) In Throwing your body into the fight Hoghe presents scenes from his critically acclaimed solo productions Chambre Séparée (1997), Lettere Amorose (1999), Dialogue with Charlotte (1998) and Meinwärts (1994).

In between the dramatic images he supplies with minor biographical intermezzos in which he presents the background for the performances, the sources from which he finds inspiration, plus the thoughts he think of his own body.

Hoghe's thoughts about such a meeting between the performer and an audience are based on the idea about the individual outlook, reading what it sees. Hoghe has no intention to limit this outlook, but he points at the forces behind the emotions and the experiences that make each outlook valid."
