Lift-off

In BIT Teatergarasjen's autumn program 2001 the following, among other things is written about the production Lift-off by SKaGeN:

"Lift-off is a bizarre performance, or rather a film, dubbed live onstage. In this theatrical experiment the text, the images and the play are only loosely connected. The relation between them is not the imperative. What is meaningful and important among these autonomous and very different elements is left to the audience to decide.

Two forces dominate the performance. First the illusion, forcefully maintained by the film, second the contact and communication with the audience, something only the performers onstage can choose to maintain. In this contradictory, fascinating meeting between strong media, the integral codes of film, theatre and the audience's perception are efficiently disturbed."
