Stamsund International Theatre Festival writes the following about Affæren* (The affair) by Nordland Theatre:
"A one-night stand in Munich throws Frida 70 years back in time, to a time when the Germans marched into Norway and settled in her own home municipality, Lurøy.
How long should the sons of the fathers be the inheritance of the daughters? When will we be done with the war? For those who lived near the fortress of Grønsvik there was not just a battle to manage the new daily life, but also a battle to remain on the right side of a small line, one that post-war sorted the heroes from the collaborators.
The monologue Affæren discusses how war is experienced by young people of today. The war is painful for many elderly, but haven't the younger generations put past behind them, either?"
