Drive-inby Claire de Wangen was a site-specific work, and the place it was made in and for to a large degree laid rules for its expression and content.
Through the car radio the audience could hear music and eventually also a kaleidoscope-like story filled with fragmented statements and bits of conversation. At times the sound image functioned as a soundtrack to what was seen, at other times it could be sensed as an autonomous world.
The production did not follow a psychologically realist action, but revealed a layered landscape of images, text and music. The characters made a universe of stories and surprises with the audience.
