In the program for the production Boogie, woogie, woogie by Alfred og Paraplyorkesteret the following is written:
"The troubadour Alfred Kjerpeseth is familiar to most parents as one of the driving forces behind well-known Bergeners, the creators of, among other things, the hit Jenter fra Bergen (literally: Girls from Bergen).
Today Alfred is the boss of his own umbrella orchestra (Norwegian: Paraplyorkester), consisting of him and the musicians Dagfinn Andersen and Olav Høysæter (...)
At Scene USF in the culture centre Kulturhuset på Verftet Alfred & Paraplyorkesteret will entertain children and adults the first two weekends of November, with a collection of familiar songs for children and some songs of their own."
