A5 Festaften* (A5 Party Night) is a formal end to the Holberg cycle by A5. In the program the following is written:

"Henrik Ibsen officially dies June 12 1993. Amalie Skram May 23 1992. Ludvig Holberg April 8 1994. Through a cycle of 10 productions A5 has once and for all annihilated Holberg as a dramatist and thinker. This Norwegian drama renovation work was a dirty job, but somebody had to do it."

A5 Festaften consists of a prologue by Rolf Eriksen and a retrospective documentary exhibition with a guided tour by A5. Georg Johannesen discusses the subject of Holberg as an essayist. Speeches follow before music, dance and a party.

A5's Holberg cycle was supported by The Audio Visual Fund and the municipality of Bergen.
