In BIT Teatergarasjen's spring program 1999, the following is written about Pleasure:
"Themes circle love, fragmentation and our search for identity. Forced Enterteinment also is concerned with what the company calls 'the culture of confession in the society at large'. In Quizoola!, performed during Kontekst '98, the artists claimed that humans have a need for confession, and that the visual media exploit and stage this. If each of Forced Entertainment’s pieces were a room in a house, Pleasure would definitely be the basement, Forced Entertainment says of this portrait of a world in which the time is always past midnight, and morning. The relationship between text and iamges is unpredictable and surprising, the presented world distant and filled with shadows- but also obsessing, nocturnal and relaxed. Pleasure is performed at a strangely slow pace, almost as in a slow motion movie."
