More

Star.* had no logical structure or any happy ending. Rather, it was like a musical piece with moods, abstract situations and movement gave meaning. Or you could find movement and images without meaning, movements which were just beautiful, strange and interesting.

With Star.* Odd Johan Fritzøe wondered how the meaningless gets its meaning, how language, roles, words and movement change meaning over the years. When we learn languages, we can clearly see how words are given content. A thing has different names. Et hus or a house. We borrow words and make them new. We do the same thing to our body language, our identities and roles. New ideals, new heroes. James Bond was a hero 20 years ago. Who are the heroes of today?

Star.* focused on change, how we continually see and experience things differently. How reality changes and is renewed. The house we saw as kids will be experienced as a different house as the years go by.
