In GYM by Krement X the fitness culture works as a metaphorical frame within which communication and the will to interact are symbolised through workout exercises.
In the cool surroundings of the gym our narcissist culture, dominated by competitive instincts, self-control and not least vulnerability, is commented on. We meet four persons in intense workouts, but what and who are they really trying to master?
Texts in the production have been found in Peter Handke's Kaspar and Don DeLillo's The Day Room, and the music is by 21st. Century Trance.
